Dishwasher Tips
  1. Make sure that the water temperature is at least 130 degrees.  This will reduce the amount of soap residue on glasses and dishes.
  2. Every couple of months, add a quart of white vinegar to the dishwasher and run the machine without any detergent or dishes.  This will help remove any hard water deposits off the inside of the dishwasher.
  3. Using a rinse-aid will add shine to your glasses and dishes.  Using a solid rinse-aid is best.
  4. It is best to use powdered detergent (such as an Electrasol tablet) because gel detergents:
    1. Contain bleach which can dissolve rubber seals
    2. Leave a film on glassware
    3. Are difficult to rinse
    4. Can clog the detergent dispenser
    5. Are less effective in hard water.
